Spoiler warning: this is one of my favorite months of Hello Waffle visage EVER. The colors just speak to my warm-loving heart, and I adore the Hunchback of Notre Dame inspiration!

Hello Waffle Visage July 2017
This month’s Visage theme was Little House in the Big Woods. I appreciate that Hello Waffle always includes a sheet that outlines the theme as well as the contents of each month’s box. This month was something I was unfamiliar with (sorry! I never read the Laura Inglalls books much as a kid!), so I appreciate the extra work to include the explanation of theme.
Hello Waffle Visage September 2017
Omg it’s almost 2018! I’m going to do a bunch of posts today to help finish my walk backwards through this year’s Hello Waffle Visages! Here is September, inspired by The Princess and the Pea.
Notoriously Morbid – Eternal Glory! (and a small rant)
I’m catching up on my backlog of posts I’ve been meaning to get around to. I’m hoping to finish it all before the new year 😀 Today I have for you the swatches from Notoriously Morbid’s November vanishing cabinet subscription. This month’s theme was “Eternal Glory”, inspired by The Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter #4).
Hello Waffle Visage – December 2017
Happy holiday season! I thought it would be a great time to show off the December Visage box!
Shiro Cosmetics Fall Collection: A Series of Unfortunate Events
I am literally a year late with this review, but hey! Better late than never! And of course the timing felt right since it’s truly autumn sweater weather now.
I have Shiro’s whole “Collection of Calamitous Cosmetics” swatched for you today. It is their Series of Unfortunate Events collection from fall 2016. Their new fall 2017 collection just dropped today too! It’s inspired by the animated mini-series “Over the Garden Wall”. I am OBSESSED with Shiro’s fall collections. Remember the Harry Potter one from fall 2015? Still one of my all time faves. The fall eyeshadows they make are just pure perfection.
Without further ado, let’s view this incomparable tragedy about orphans, terrible villains, a secret society, and many unfortunate events.
Birds of a Feather: Warm Autumnal Matte Browns!
Hello and welcome back to a much-delayed installment of Birds of a Feather, where I swatch a whole pile of similar colors next to each other! Today, in the spirit of September and the rapidly coming fall season, I broke out some of my favorite warm brown autumn shades. These are 99% matte shades.
These are primarily loose shadows, although I do show off my custom (massive) GlamTech palette of pressed shadows and swatch some of those too!
If you love pumpkins, firesides, coffee, butterscotch, oversized sweaters….. well this is the right place for you.
Hello Waffle Visage Box March 2017
Hello all! The end of May and April have been crazy busy, both in bad and good ways. I had an endless plague of computer and car problems, and I’m in the middle of moving to a new state (again!). So forgive my slow posts. I do plan on doing a combined April + May empties post later on this month!
Today I have a belated review of the Hello Waffle Visage from March!
Two EOTDs / Color Challenge
Burning question: will I ever be able to take a good photo of my eye makeup?
Answer: lol no.
Despite somewhat potato photos (wtf is wrong with my camera) I have TWO new eyes of the day to show you! One is in my neutral sparkly comfort zone, and the other is a lean, mean, green machine 😉
Birds of a Feather: Greens
It’s a Saturday swatch party at my place and everyone is invited 🙂
I’ve had quite a backlog of my Birds of a Feather series that I’ve been meaning to post… so I’m procrastinating on packing for my move by playing with my makeup! Today I have jewels to show off: my emeralds! Now not all of these are emerald, but these are my dark greens to my weird olives. I love green- it really helps show off the green in my hazel eyes. Alas, I rarely wear it as anything other than liner. I just can’t seem to get a fully green eye look to work on me! Any tips and tutorials from you guys would be loved ❤
