Hello all! Today I have a swatch post (and sort of comparison) of two of the Kat Von D liners on the market. I actually also have the Tattoo liner in Trooper, but since that is a basic black (and my oft-talked about HG) I thought you’d like to see two of my more fun colors! All my KVD is purchased at Sephora.
Hello all 🙂 Today I have a new-to-me product to review, one that I really really love now! Say hello to Ardency Inn’s eyeliners!
Happy Sunday everyone! Today I had some fun doing a 60s style look 🙂 It’s mostly inspired by the glamorous Victoria from the film “The Man from UNCLE” with a dash of Gaby as well. This is a really easy Halloween look to do, since it’s more of a period style than a crazy full-out costume. If you’re looking for some 60s makeup inspiration, read on!
Happy Friday everyone! Whoo hoo to the weekend 🙂
Today I have for you my new eyeliner loves; 1PM and 5AM by BareMinerals! I bought these during the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty for 50% off, and gosh am I thankful for that sale! Otherwise I don’t think I would have ever tried these hidden gems.
These are totally my new favorites!
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are having awesome weekends 🙂
I’ve been trying various Sephora brand products lately and have been surprisingly impressed! There’s definitely a lot of hidden gems that no one really talks about… so I thought I would 🙂 Here’s a collection of some of my Sephora favorites!
Happy Monday (or in my case, “happy six cups of tea day!”) Mondays are not my favorite at all. But in order to brighten my day I decided to do a fun and easy eye look! Something you guys may not know about me is that I actually have way way more eyeshadows than lipsticks! Which really is a feat to accomplish. I’ve been collecting indie brand loose pigments for hmm, probably six years now and I have a huge collection from a lot of different brands. (As well as singles and z-palettes and a regular palettes that aren’t in the photo and well, you get the point! I have a lot of eyeshadow).
I’ve been meaning to document and actually use everything I own at least once for the purposes of swatching, so I thought “why not start today?”
Happy Sunday! Who is watching the Tony’s tonight? I’m so excited, but I’m also going to a watching party so that definitely adds to the fun 🙂
So I wrecked my No-Buy like crazy when I happened across a sale on Butter London’s website! Not only did they have a discounted Mystery Bag (I’m very weak to resist mystery bags from my fave brands) but they also had a half-off their Outlet section. And magically, when I added the coupon to my cart, it took 50% the whole cart, outlet and non-outlet, so yeah… I went a little crazy 🙂
Hello all! It has been SUPER busy for me lately, so forgive the lack of posting 🙂 We could consider today a special double post, since in the process of making my May Favorites list, I did a mini lipstick swatch comparison! My May Faves actually contain a fun amount of new + really old items. Without further ado here we go!
How are you guys today? Real life has been INSANE for me lately, so forgive my lack of posts! If you follow me on twitter or instagram, you’ll see I’ve been slammed with work.
I did a mini Ulta haul a week or so ago and I wanted to share it with you 🙂 As some of you may know I’ve been collecting basically all the Urban Decay 24/7 liquid liners that have been on sale for a while, so this haul was basically my way of hitting minimum shipping and getting the last UD liner that I’ve had my eyes on.
I got the UD liner in Radium! Its a beautiful bright cobalt color with shimmer. It’s similar to my Boots eyeliner that I’ve mentioned before (veeerrryy similar colors) but this one is a superior formula by far.
I also picked up the Ulta gel eyeliner pencils that were on sale in the colors Plum, Copper, Olive Oil, and Golden Egg. As well as two eyeshadows from a brand I’ve never heard of (but was on sale); Honeybee Gardens pressed eyeshadow in Canterbury and Cameo.
I really love everything I bought! No dud in the bunch. I love the UD liner, but I knew that I would. And the Ulta gel liners are a fantastic surprise hit. Each color glides easily, has great pigment, and lasts forever! When I was testing the wear, these eyeliners actually stayed on all day AND through a shower! The shadows are also beautiful; they have smooth and silky color and look great on me. I have a huge collection of indie brand loose eyeshadows which are unfortunately awful to travel with, so I’ve been on the hunt for similar colors to my favorites to fill my travel Z palette with. Canterbury and Cameo really hit the spot 🙂
Here’s a quick swatch line up.
Isn’t everything lovely?
Anyways, I hope everyone has a lovely day and may all your hauls be just as wonderful 🙂
til later lovelies,
P.S. I’ve been thinking of dyeing my hair for a fun change but my hair gets so dry when I dye it 😦 Does anyone have a hair dye brand that they swear by? I’d love to hear your ideas!
