Hello Waffle February Visage (2017)

Hello all, I have a special post today! I recently received my very first Hello Waffle visage monthly box! It’s an indie makeup subscription and you can find Hello Waffle here.

I adore every single thing I’ve bought from them and I tend to pick up visage extras whenever they show up, so I took the plunge and finally subscribed to the monthly box 🙂

EOTD / Color Challenge

Happy Wednesday! Keeping with my 2017 makeup resolutions, I made sure to wake up extra early so I could do a look more complicated than my usual neutral grab & go.
This one isn’t so much an Eyeshadow Roulette (as I have yet to wrangle all my eyeshadows into a spreadsheet) but more of a color challenge! It’s a bit inspired by all those gorgeous warm toned Modern Renaissance looks that are everywhere nowadays!

Ignore how tired I look- it’s week two of my cold that won’t go away :/

Details under the cut.

Happy November 1 everyone! Halloween is my favorite holiday yet I found myself this year with no solid plans and no costume! So what’s a girl to do? Whip out her makeup collection and make an awesome Halloween face 🙂

This year I took inspiration from one of my favorite comic series, The Wicked & The Divine. The makeup and outfits on the characters are all so unique, detailed, and bold. I channeled four of my favorite characters to created five cool looks perfect for Halloween.

Just wanted to let you know it’s going to be a bit quiet for me this weekend. An old friend of mine (whom I haven’t seen in almost 2 years!) is staying with me for the next couple of days and we’re going to be doing loads of fun things in the city 🙂 I’ll be back and blogging most likely Monday.
Have a great weekend! I leave you with this inspirational quote from the amazing Lauren Bacall. We all have the potential to be awesome 🙂

Post a Quote Challenge ~*~ Day 1

Hi guys! As a little break from all the Colourpop lately (sorry not sorry 🙂 ) I have a lovely quote for you all~ I was nominated for the Post-A-Quote challenge by the awesome Nerdylibrariangirl

160-c-little-women-storms-quote-card_1024x1024This quote is from Little Women which, if I’m honest, I haven’t reread it lately (like… within this decade) but I *adore* this quote and I find it really inspirational. This is actually just one of many prints from the amazing Emily McDowell that I have in my room. My walls have turned into a half-art-gallery half-inspirational-quote hodgepodge and I love it 🙂

The Rules:

  • Post 1 quote a day for 3 days
  • Nominate 3 bloggers to participate per post
  • Acknowledge the person who nominated you

I nominate the lovely Jessie, Tiffany, and Supernova to do this challenge (and anyone else who wants to!)

til later lovelies!
xoxo Swatchlette
