Happy Sunday everyone! Today I had some fun doing a 60s style look 🙂 It’s mostly inspired by the glamorous Victoria from the film “The Man from UNCLE” with a dash of Gaby as well. This is a really easy Halloween look to do, since it’s more of a period style than a crazy full-out costume. If you’re looking for some 60s makeup inspiration, read on!
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are having awesome weekends 🙂
I’ve been trying various Sephora brand products lately and have been surprisingly impressed! There’s definitely a lot of hidden gems that no one really talks about… so I thought I would 🙂 Here’s a collection of some of my Sephora favorites!
It’s been literally years since I’ve bought any e.l.f. products. I remember back in the day when their website was a clunker and they only had the $1 essentials line! The last time I bought from them I think was a Black Friday sale and a lot of their products seemed hit & miss for me. I hadn’t had a hankering for more e.l.f. stuff but since I’m always seeing more and more products added to their display at Target, that urge to try new products popped up again! Last week they were having a free shipping, no minimum so I took advantage and got a few things 🙂
It’s been a CRAZY busy week and I’ve been getting ready for a weekend mini trip to my university’s reunion (yay!) I’m a notorious over-packer but since this is just a three-day trip I’m trying very hard to pack light 😉 So what made the cut in my makeup bag(s)? Why not check it out below 🙂
I have a LOT of red lipstick. It’s a fact and I am completely okay with it 😉 And that means I have EVEN MORE red swatches for you today! These are my more vivid and brights reds… Call it this eternal winter, but I am craving some bright color lately! Super close up swatches after the cut; everything from NARS to Wet’n’Wild!
Today we have a quick review (with some old photos, haha!)
NARS – Velvet Matte Lip Pencils (a total personal fave despite my rocky relationship with Nars)
I did Red Square and I thought it was a bit too bright for this grey day so I layered Dragon Girl over it. Still very bright and still on 6 hours later! I love me some easy lip pencils, but these are very matte in a velvety sense of the word; aka they don’t look DRY necessarily but they are “blurred” looking; soft and smooth. Velvet is a true description!
Not sure how special these are to my collection, honestly. NARS Vesuvio is eerily the same color, as is Mac Opera or Covergirl Hot. I’ll do a comparison post soon 😉
til later, lovelies!
