As the new year creeps closer, I’ll be doing a weird backwards walk through my Hello Waffle visage subscription! I did a December review a couple of days ago, and now I’m catching up on older months. First up: November!
I’m catching up on my backlog of posts I’ve been meaning to get around to. I’m hoping to finish it all before the new year 😀 Today I have for you the swatches from Notoriously Morbid’s November vanishing cabinet subscription. This month’s theme was “Eternal Glory”, inspired by The Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter #4).
Happy holiday season! I thought it would be a great time to show off the December Visage box!
Hope everyone’s Halloween was fun and full of candy! This year I did two costumes (Poison Ivy and Peggy Carter) but I made the extra effort for my Poison Ivy makeup. As an additional challenge I tried to use only indie makeup!
Ahhh another delayed post! Sorry about that friends; this year has felt crazy busy with lots of changes happening and plans twisty-turning at the last second.
Here is my “late summer” empties, combining August and September!
I am literally a year late with this review, but hey! Better late than never! And of course the timing felt right since it’s truly autumn sweater weather now.
I have Shiro’s whole “Collection of Calamitous Cosmetics” swatched for you today. It is their Series of Unfortunate Events collection from fall 2016. Their new fall 2017 collection just dropped today too! It’s inspired by the animated mini-series “Over the Garden Wall”. I am OBSESSED with Shiro’s fall collections. Remember the Harry Potter one from fall 2015? Still one of my all time faves. The fall eyeshadows they make are just pure perfection.
Without further ado, let’s view this incomparable tragedy about orphans, terrible villains, a secret society, and many unfortunate events.
Hello and welcome back to a much-delayed installment of Birds of a Feather, where I swatch a whole pile of similar colors next to each other! Today, in the spirit of September and the rapidly coming fall season, I broke out some of my favorite warm brown autumn shades. These are 99% matte shades.
These are primarily loose shadows, although I do show off my custom (massive) GlamTech palette of pressed shadows and swatch some of those too!
If you love pumpkins, firesides, coffee, butterscotch, oversized sweaters….. well this is the right place for you.
I’m catching up on my empties now! There was a lot finished in June and July. I’m hoping to finish even more this August, but I definitely need to recommit to finishing already open products rather than starting on new things. It’s hard because I just love playing around with new items! But that’s what makes this the challenge part of the Reverse Rouge Challenge 🙂
Hello all! A quick post for you today, inspired by my impulse trip to Ulta.
Well, not-so-impulse. The 20% off coupons went out this week and I wanted to swatch the new Lorac palettes in person to decide whether I wanted one or not. They didn’t have any of the desert/mountain/ocean in store, but they did have the California palettes! I really wanted Santa Monica, as I used to live there and I miss it dearly (and because the colors really called to me). But when I swatched it in person, I realized why the colors appealed to me: I totally already own them! Other than the convenience of them being in one palette, I know I already own the colors.
It’s still super pretty though….
Anyways! The real dish of this post is: omg there’s new sparkly shinies at Ulta!
